We are pleased to offer a special program flat rate of $156,660. In addition, each individual student will receive a scholarship in the amount of $20,000.

With the University’s valued resources and established clinical-academic partnerships, students benefit from nationwide clinical placements, providing diverse opportunities to apply classroom knowledge under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.

These placements allow students to transition confidently from classroom to clinic and apply hands-on skills under the direct supervision of licensed physical therapists.

Policy:
Complaints from sources covered by ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø due process procedures are handled according to the ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø policies.

The Physical Therapy Program recognizes the importance of receiving feedback and being open to the merits of any complaint made against the program including the faculty, staff, and students. The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program has established policies and procedures in place to address complaints that fall outside of due process. The Program describes the policy and the procedure for complaints that fall outside the realm of due process in the DPT Student Handbook. The Program website has a link for filling complaints that are not covered by due process. The Program Director, in collaboration with the Dean of the School of Health Sciences and or appropriate university offices, is responsible for handling complaints that fall outside of due process. In the event the Program Director is not available, or if it is inappropriate for the Program Director to handle the complaint (for example: the complaint involves the Program Director), the complaint will be forwarded to the Dean of the School of Health Sciences. When appropriate, the Program Director or his/her designee, may consult with other University offices and personnel in addressing the complaint. The record of complaints, supporting documents, and any related documents including decision will be maintained by the Program Director and/or other University officials as appropriate. If the individual who completed the complaint chooses to provide the contact information, the individual will be contacted via phone or e-mail to confirm that the formal complaint has been received. No such complaints have been received to date.

Complaints Outside of Due Process Procedure: 
Complaints that fall outside of due process should be directed to Richard Johnson, Physical Therapy Program Director at Rick.W.Johnson@hofstra.edu. Retaliation following complaint submission is prohibited. In instances where there is an apparent or perceived conflict of interest, individuals may recuse themselves from the proceedings. In instances where the is the source of concern or complaint, issues should be referred to Dr. Reginald J. Alston, Dean of the School of Health Sciences at 516-463-5301 or reginald.alston@hofstra.edu.
